Who let the dogs out?

After leisurely arising at 5 a.m., this mothers day begins. She pours the coffee down her throat and whilst catching up on the news of the day. Upstairs, she can hear the sounds of snoring from two beastly males. Downstairs, she hears the dogs stirring, waiting to go outdoors and in the sun room, the iguana sleeps soundly. Outside, the quiet meows of the stray cat come creeping in the window. The birds sing for their food and await her presence.
They all sleep with food on the brain. She sleeps with food prepped and ready for the morning.
Each night, I set the table with our breakfast china , napkins and glasses. I prep the breakfast in any way I can. If we are having pancakes, I lay out the mixing bowl and any non perishable ingredients and all my utensils. If we are having bagels, I lay them out ready to pop in the toaster, having diced my fruit for a yummy salad already.
I also prep all the animals food as they eat before humans since they have bigger barks. I shred the iguna's greens, veggies and fruits. I lay out the cat and dogs bowl so everything is in quick reach. Early morning, the last thing I need is chaos.
After an hour of caffeine drip, she begins to feed the animals one by one in the stillness of the morning. She hears the snoring slow down, it's roar becoming more like a hum. They will be up soon, they will be hungry. They will ask for food and she shall serve the food. She is a wise woman that preps the meal the night before.
