Mimobot Review and Giveaway

~~giveaway closed~~
Winner will be posted
on Sat., Dec. 6th

Fractured Toy has been invaded.
Please do not be alarmed as these are peaceful, joyful, fun loving creatures. It was however, startling to say the least when I logged in to see over fifty of these designer looking creatures on my blog.

I was able to communicate with them and am happy to report my findings to those with open minds expressing a desire to adopt one of these loving data storage devices.

In an unprecedented planetary venture, scientists from the planet blooh joined forces long ago in 2005 with ...er, earth silicon and flashportation was borne. Then able to recreate and actually replenish the memory of these once "befuddled with ecstasy" mimobots, mimobotic clones were borne.

These mimobots are endowed with excellent memory and are wanting and willing to serve your data storage needs. With memory capabilities ranging from 1GB to 8GB, you can count on your reliable little mimobot to store and transfer your digital photos, songs or files.

Mimoco scientists, makers of MIMOBOT designer USB flash drives, were kind enough to deploy a 2GB C-3PO to my very own home for personal experimentation. Being the security conscious nut that I am, I quickly trained my MIMOBOT to store my password files. With a swift movement and manipulation of my little creature, I was able to insert his head into the USB port on my everlovin Mac and the transfer began. In addition to storing those files for me, I also threw some photos on mine as I like to share pictures with friends and family when I make an improptu call on them. Now all I do is upload my files, carefully place my mimobotic friend in my purse and transport him to the desired location. Once there, I simply repeat the process and voila! I'm now able to transfer those pictures (not my beloved passwords! C-3PO guards those safely) to my friends computer!
My C-3PO came formatted for Windows but I was able to quickly and easily format for my Mac. His mimory included soundfiles, icons, avatars and wallpapers all ready for transfer. What delightful little treasures to find and what a nice touch for my MIMOBOT to come with his own little personalized files. You'll be happy to find that yours will come with such goodies as do all MIMOBOTS.

In addition to their exemplary performance, MIMOBOTS are just the cats meow, the bee's knees and a monkey's uncle. A monkey's uncle? Well he hardly looks old enough to be anyone's uncle but who knows how one ages, if ever, on the planet blooh? Just look at the cute little hoodie you can purchase for this Meletta by tokidoki. That's right! There are even accessories for which you may wish to adorn your little MIMOBOT at Mimoco.

On November 11th, the very first community designed MIMOBOT VDC Series was released , the first major campaign of MIMOCO working with the community of designers and fans. The release of these highly anticipated MIMOBOTS is just another example of the Mimoco dedication to bringing it's customers the very latest designs and creations for your archival fetishes.

With so many MIMOBOTS to choose from, personally I am all set to start my collection and I'm sure you've got a need AND desire for these little creatures on your desktop too. Some of these even come with soundfiles ( also known as mimoByte) and the exclusive content that comes preloaded such as desktop ta die for graphics, music , digital magazines and more (that's the mimory I spoke of).

For a small adoption fee , you can adopt a MIMOBOT of your very own. Why not a family? This is the perfect gift for your techie husband, daughter, son or keep for yourself (mom knows best!).
For about $35, you can start your collection today choosing from the Artist series (including Gary Baseman!), the Crossover Series (think Halo....), Core Series (PupStar how my heart does beat wildly for you...) and more. You are going to have a difficult time choosing your little adopted friend because when it comes down to it, isn't every little MIMOBOT special?

Mimoco, the makers of MIMOBOT, are peaceful, joyful, fun loving creatures. They would like to implement and process adoptions of MIMOBOTS to Fractured Toy readers.
One lucky winner will have their choice of a MIMOBOT. That's right; your choice.
This giveaway is open to everyone; International shipping available. Please read Mimoco shipping policy for contest winners here.
Here's the rules:
Limit one entry per person per method. Leave additional comment for each entry method.
Giveaway ends Dec. 5th at 11 PM EST.

Winner will be notified by email as well as winner posted here at Fractured Toy. Winner has 72 hrs from email notification to respond or another winner will be drawn.

I use Random.org to draw winner but if winner is unable to be contacted (read NO EMAIL..) or if winner fails to respond within 72 hrs., I pick a winner based on creative comment. Make your comment genuine, creative and sincere as Mimoco has been gracious enough to place a MIMOBOT in your care.

Your entry methods must include first and can include all . Again, additional comment required for additional entry.
1) Visit Mimoco and select the MIMOBOT that would fit well in your family. The MIMOBOT you select will be the one entrusted in your care should you be the winner so choose carefully!
2) Blog this giveaway with links to this post AND to Mimoco. Leave direct link to your post in additional comment.
3) Stumble this post or Technorati favorite. Leave username in additional comment.
4) With your purchase from Mimoco, you'll earn three additional entries. If you are using this method for extra entry, you'll need to email me after your purchase. Please use "FRACTURED TOY" in your comment when ordering. This way the adoption process will run smoothly.
5) Tweet, tweet, tweet about MIMOBOT adoption here at Fractured Toy. I'll need your username please.
Good luck; have fun and let's be gracious guests of our everso gracious sponsor, Mimobot. Remember to get your holiday order in soon so no one is disappointed! These will make wonderful stocking stuffers or a beautiful gift wrapped nicely with a big red bow!
Personally Mr. Man, I love that Mr. Phantom. Just sayin'....

this little sticky post will stay up here for duration of adoption

Too cool! I love the idea of storing your passwords on this. I need something like that to organize mine.

I wish they had a Darth Vader, since my geek fancies himself Darth Vader's biggest sympathizer. How is it that I acquired the Imperial March ringtone for my phone though?

I'd either go with Boba Fett, since he's a Vader cronie of sorts, or the Holybot, since we're Japanophiles around here and it reminds me of kimono designs. Fun contest!

I love Smiling Malfi by Friendswithyou. I wish the site was also set up so that you could just view all of the guys on one page, it was annoying to have to jump around just to see one or two guys on a page.

I would love to adopt Super Malfi, just look at it's adorable smiling face... even cuter than a puppy (and less poop to clean up)! I'm sure my other mimobots would love a little brother (or sister?). I just hope those spots aren't contagious....

I had never heard of these until now, I have no idea why not. I would give Cosmobot by Roxie Vizcarra, a very lovely home. Why would I want to adopt Cosmobot by Roxie Vizcarra, when there are so many to choose from? Glad you asked. I met my husband in the former Soviet Union and seeing the CCCP on the Cosmobot's Helmet made him destined to live in this home.
As an added bonus we speak Russian, so there would not be a truly awkward adjustment for him.

These are adorable. Since I have three sons, I think the Classic Treeson would fit in well in my family.

Ursula said...

My son showed me these a couple of months ago -- had to have Flippy from Happy Tree Friends. He begged and begged and begged, did chores for days and days in hopes of getting one, but unfortunately, since I've lost my job, this just wasn't something we could do. Hopefully, we will be one of the lucky winners so he can "adopt" his Happy Tree Friend for Christmas. Thanks for the giveaway Fractured Toy and Mimobot!

To pick one ... that is a hard task.

I'd have to say the Cosmobot, but of course the Rasta Domo is great too ... and all the Star War ones are classic!

Carolyn said...

I just found out what these things are. Of course, my eight year son knew...sigh! No fun to get old.
I know that he'd love to have one. I'm thinking Flippy Gory by Happy Tree Friends. He's eight, a boy and loves scary stuff! Including me, mornings, before coffee. Flippy's got nothin' on me!
